Final Fight
A precisely folded flag, a rifle salute fading away,
Then the lonely sound of taps; tells us a soldier has gone away.
His Earthly battle is over; we know he gave us his best,
Gone is a defender of freedom; we weep as he is laid to rest.
Our land became the greatest because of soldiers like this one,
Who remained faithful to the end, who would not quit until the fight was won!
