America, the Blessed
When the Lord smiled upon this wonderful land,
Then guided the pilgrims with His sure and steady hand.
He was building a nation for people to be free,
He said, "I will bless you if you will follow me."
America is great because of the loving Lord,
We must walk in His footsteps, for He is our reward.
America, the beautiful, the Lord smiles upon thee,
Let us praise His goodness on bended
knee.
